Readypower Rail Services is looking for a motivated Commercial Manager to support our operations. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.
The ideal candidate will support the business by enhancing market share through leading initiatives to drive profitable sales growth.
The role:
• Adhere to agreed commercial and financial guidelines when pursuing tender opportunities with both new and existing customers
• Establish new customer relationships and nurture existing connections to foster long-term partnerships
• Make strategic decisions on project selection by evaluating cost vs risk factors
• Advise customers on the optimal equipment solutions to meet their specific needs and requirements
• Accurately and competitively price projects to ensure financial viability and efficiency
• Represent Readypower with professionalism, maintaining a positive and proactive attitude
• Assist the credit control team in debt recovery efforts.
• Undertake on-call duties as required
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of regular railway experience
• Must hold a valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to work independently, as well as within a team environment
• Confident in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc)
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
