Readypower Rail Services is a growing rail plant hire company looking for a motivated Control Centre Representative (CCR) to support our customers out of hours.
The CCR is a key role in our Operations Team and is responsible for providing a professional out of hours support function to the Group, reporting and facilitating responses to issues raised by customers, staff and members of the public.
The ideal candidate will thrive on providing excellent customer service and work with our teams to provide positive outcomes to our clients and colleagues on site (e.g., arranging replacement people, plant or equipment, Fitter response, etc.).
The CCR is also responsible for gathering and collating information, producing daily reports and escalating issues to management as required.
Shifts will be 6pm to 6am with an occasional day shift of 6am to 6pm. The role is based in our head office located in Winnersh. Full training will be provided to include management mentoring support. The Control Centre is operational seven days a week.
At least 1 year experience in a call handling, customer service representative, or similar role
Ability to deal with callers on the telephone, building rapport and remaining composed under pressure whilst delivering excellent customer service
Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities, able to find practical solutions to issues as they arise
Excellent organisation skills with experience of managing conflicting deadlines
Confident IT user, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software. Experience of using SalesForce is desirable
Approximately 39 hours a week with shifts rostered on a 28-day rolling period and covering seven days a week
Competitive hourly rates
- Day shift: £10 per hour
- Night shift: £14 per hour
