Readypower Rail Services is a growing rail plant hire company looking for a motivated and experienced Maintenance Manager to support our operations. Based in Winnersh, this opportunity is available on a full-time basis.
The ideal candidate will monitor and co-ordinate a team of Engineers carrying out maintenance and repair of plant and equipment owned by Readypower Rail Services, ensuring all plant and equipment hired out to clients has been serviced, inspected, tested, and is fit for purpose.
The role:
• Liaise with Operations to schedule inspections, and maintain plant and equipment
• Maintain a database of all work carried out on plant and equipment, and maintain registers, engineering acceptance certificates, calibration certificates, and maintenance, service, test and inspection records
• Ensure statutory requirements for plant and associated equipment with regard to testing, thorough examinations, etc. are met
Requirements:
• Previous experience in an operational maintenance role
• Basic underpinning knowledge of construction plant and equipment maintenance and repair
• Good communication skills
• Good IT skills, specifically Excel
• Good teamwork skills
