Readypower Rail Services is a growing rail plant hire company looking for motivated and experienced Operators to support our operations. Based in the South, opportunities are available for zero hours personnel.

The role:

• Ensure the safe operation of OTP/ Mobile Plant in line with current rules and standards
• Operate plant you have competence for and authorisation to use, under supervision and correctly use plant for its intended use
• Carry out your undertaking professionally and politely, whilst utilising communication devices to enhance safety

Requirements:

• All Operators are required to comply with Network Rail pre-employment checks, which are as follows:
  • Identity verification
  • UK right to work check
  • Employment references (past 3 years). Must be able to provide information for any gaps in employment history of 3 months or more

• An up to date PTS/ Sentinel card
• CPCS or an equivalent Nationally recognised competence should be maintained
• Good knowledge and experience of the railway
• Acceptable standard of reading and writing (able to read lift plans, safety signage, correctly complete log books, etc.)

• Zero hours
