Readypower Group is looking for a SHE Advisor to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity (Monday to Friday), and requires site work in the North, using our Nottingham, Warrington or Goole depots as the base location.
The candidate will provide safety support across our 3 businesses, Readypower Rail Services Ltd (Road/Rail Plant), Readypower Terrawise Ltd (Civil Engineering and Construction), and Force One Ltd (Suction Excavation).
The role:
- Managing and undertaking depot inspections and random safety tours with employees at Readypower managed sites
- Delivering safety inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Undertaking safety investigations
- Assisting with internal audits
- Updating local notice boards with current health, safety and environmental information
- Undertaking site safety assurance checks on weekend shifts (The role requires at least one weekend shift per month to be worked as paid overtime)
Requirements:
- Good level of Maths and English (Minimum GCSE Qualification required)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Confident in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Valid Sentinel Card (desirable)
- Previous rail experience (desirable)
