Construction of a new rail freight terminal. As part of the project Readypower was awarded a subcontract for lineside civil engineering works:

• Under track crossings (UTX’s)
• Cable route
• Signal foundations
• Lineside equipment foundations and hardstandings

Construction Phase

Works were planned and executed, working around other contractors, with a focus on minimal disruption to others programmes. Trough route was recycled plastic to minimise manual handling risks. Signal foundations were pre-cast off site to minimise access required to the worksite, thus minimising congestion with other contractors. All works were successfully delivered utilising internal resources with road rail plant and transport being provided solely by Readypower Rail Services.
