Readypower Group has invested in modern civil machines to work alongside the RRV fleet on rail projects. We have had this fantastic 25 tonne excavator built with bespoke features which make it absolutely ideal for working in a railway environment.

The machine is built compact so it turns within its own track frame giving it zero tail swing. It is fitted with a Prolec PME 500 computer system which limits slew and height enabling it to work in tight lineside environments. The Prolec system is also an Safe Load Indicator enabling the machine to lift as well as excavate.

Takeuchi 8T(GKD Height and Slew limiter)

Takeuchi’s FR excavators combine zero swing at both the front and the rear with an offset boom providing far more flexibility than conventional machines.

Operations can simply move the offset boom for improved digging positions without having to re-position the machine, critical where operators are working in restricted site conditions
