Innovative Ideas Keeping our Staff Safe
In a Covid-19 world, Readypower seeks simple innovative ideas to help keep our operators and those working with them safe during the current pandemic.
We had to quickly implement changes that allowed workers in a Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) basket to work together, closer than 2 metres apart, without putting them at risk of catching the virus, and in a way that made them feel safe too.
We designed a lightweight, moveable , plexiglass screen that is fitted to the basket. It allows workers to work near each other. The clear plexiglass barrier does not hinder visibility, and gives the workers confidence that they are protected.
