Readypower Complete Drain Clearance is a growing company looking for a motivated and experienced Fitter to support our operations. This is a full-time opportunity based in Stafford.
The role:
• Undertake preventative maintenance tasks in line with the equipment maintenance plans and services schedules
• Carry out repair works and planned inspections to determine whether plant and equipment is fit for purpose. This includes modifications and upgrades of plant and machinery
• Complete maintenance records fully and in a timely manner
• Carry out planned inspections to ensure plant and equipment is fit for purpose and certificated accordingly
• Assist with depot workshop maintenance/repair work as requested by their plant manager
• Be an onsite Fitter as and when required to cover breakdowns
• Cover the on call rota as and when required
Requirements:
• Level 2 in plant maintenance is desirable
• Electricians must hold a recognised full certificate of competence in electrical skills education
• Good knowledge and experience of permanent way, and/or civic engineering and statutory legislation is desirable
