Readypower Health and Safety Commitment
As part of our commitment to continual improvement across all our functions, we always ensure we are providing the highest level of safety to our clients and staff. We have recently been audited by BSI to conform to BSI OHSAS 18001 Safety Management Quality Standard and FORS Bronze Status, demonstrating our best in field approach to health and safety.
BSI OHSAS 18001
The BSI OHSAS 18001 Certification is a British Quality Standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, and retaining this certification requires organisations to demonstrate best practice when it comes to eliminating, minimizing and managing health and safety risks in the workplace. At Readypower we take the health and safety of our staff and clients very seriously and are committed to ensuring best practice working conditions are maintained throughout our operations at all times.
We are pleased to report that BSI recently conducted one of three audits at Readypower in the first quarter of 2019 towards this safety standard, and we have successfully passed the BSI 18001 Safety Management in January.
FORS Bronze Status
Furthermore, In March we were audited for our FORS Bronze status and successfully retained the certification. ‘Bronze accreditation confirms that you employ good practice and comply with the requirements laid out by the FORS Standard. This includes demonstrating dedication to driver and vehicle safety, combined with improving operating practices through effective monitoring of fuel and tyre usage.’
Our objective for the rest of this year is to enhance our business to obtain Silver status by March 2020.
