Euston Station OLE remodelling to enable HS2 construction. As part of the project Readypower was awarded a subcontract for new OLE foundations in 3 packages:

West side clearance:

CHS driven pile

• 6 No. Gantry cut-back Foundations
• 3 No. Twin Track Cantilevers Foundations

Concrete auger piles

• 3 No. Gantry cut-back Foundations
• 4 No. Twin Track Cantilevers Foundations

Up Sidings:

CHS driven pile

• 2 No. Anchor structure foundations

Camden Sidings:

CHS driven pile

• 1 No. Gantry cut-back Foundations
• 3 No. Single Track Cantilever Foundations
• 2 No. Anchor structure foundations

Construction Phase

Working in and around Euston station obviously has its challenges and as such Readypower embedded an engineer in the project team to ensure the planning from both sides interfaced seamlessly. Plant and equipment required was supplied via Readypower Rail Services and was best in class – very much needed when working with ALO, under existing OLE and a critical path requiring 100% reliability.
