North West Electrification Programme

Construction Phase

The works were delivered primarily in non-disruptive possessions, 6 nights per week. To achieve the necessary output to hit key dates and commissioning dates, Readypower deployed 3 piling teams, 1 civils team and 1 logistics team. The teams were supported by a dedicated management team embedded into the clients project team. Reliable plant and haulage was key to the planned output but also to continuously manage the change on a daily basis, which resulted in heavy equipment being moved at last minute. Despite the challenges thrown up by the project and the departure of Tier 1 contractors, Readypower completed the scope for the Murphy Group in mid 2018.
