Opening our Kent Satellite Facility
Readypower Rail Services are delighted to announce the opening of their new satellite facility near Rochester in Kent.
Readypower operate an efficient “hub and spoke” operation with all of the operational and logistical planning taking place for the south in our Reading Southern hub. The new “spoke” facility in Kent gives the group a local satellite facility to store assets and to undertake engineering works in the six-bay workshop.
This facility enables Readypower to offer a more efficient transport rate to its customers in the South-East. Readypower are the sole provider of RRV (road rail vehicle) assets to all the plain line track renewals in Anglia, Kent and Sussex for Colas Rail. Colas Rail also undertake a large amount of work for Network Rail Maintenance and Network rail OCR providing overhead line machines in this area.
This facility will ensure that Readypower have an another excellent base to work from in the South -East, complementing our Reading and Bracknell facilities.
